IVA was founded on December 6, 1999 with its head office in Frankfurt and a branch office in Heidelberg. In 2000 and 2001 the company’s strategic goal was to establish itself as a public accounting firm specializing in business consultancy. Independence was an important principle from the start. To avoid conflicts of interest, the services “audit” and “business consultancy” were separated, and we decided from the start to focus on business valuation. Therefore, audits consistently do not belong to our core business.
In 2001, we decided to specialize in business valuations. We were the first auditing company in Germany to specialize in valuations. That is why our core competence is included in our company name. As we do offer other business consultancy services, these are expressed by our name as well.
Since 2006 our services are only in the area of business valuation and valuing intangible assets.
We opened an office in Hamburg at 2015.
